Mobile Application Developer
Mobile Application Developer – Angular / Capacitor
About the Role
We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer to extend our enterprise DCIM platform into a focused, mobile-first application for iOS and Android.
Our existing product is a mature Angular web application. Rather than creating a separate mobile product and codebase, the mobile experience will be developed within our existing Angular application and packaged for iOS and Android using Capacitor.
You will work alongside our existing Angular development team, with your primary focus on mobile development, Capacitor, native device integration, and mobile UX.
Responsibilities
Build mobile-first Angular screens and workflows for our DCIM application.
Integrate and maintain Capacitor for iOS and Android.
Configure, build, debug, sign, and release applications using Xcode and Android Studio.
Integrate device capabilities such as QR/barcode scanning, camera, push notifications, biometrics, and local storage.
Design and implement offline-capable functionality, including local data persistence and synchronization.
Integrate with our existing APIs, authentication, authorization, and RBAC.
Collaborate with our Angular development team to reuse existing services, models, and business logic.
Help establish mobile development standards and CI/CD processes.
- Prepare and maintain releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Required
Bachelors or higher degree in computer science or software engineering.
Hands on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with Capacitor or a comparable hybrid mobile framework.
Experience developing and deploying applications for both iOS and Android.
Working knowledge of Xcode and Android Studio.
Strong understanding of mobile-first UX and responsive design.
Experience integrating REST APIs and native device capabilities.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
Experience building offline-first applications and synchronization architectures.
Experience with SQLite or other local databases.
QR/barcode scanning, push notifications, biometrics, or camera integration.
Experience with App Store Connect and Google Play Console
Experience developing custom Capacitor plugins or working with Swift/Kotlin.
Enterprise application, authentication, or RBAC experience.
